The difference between polyamide monofilament and polyamide composite filament

Nylon monofilament refers to only one monofilament composed of nylon filament, nylon monofilament has high strength, good elasticity, heat resistance, poor sun resistance. The diameter of nylon monofilament is 0.1~2mm, the diameter is large, the braiding performance is poor, and it can only be used as fishing line, strings, ropes, tennis racket materials, etc. Small diameter, can be used to weave women's long and short socks, pantyhose, gauze, filter, screen, stage curtain, etc.; Medium diameter, can be used to separate yarn woven pieces or socks in separate rows.

Polyamide filament is composed of multiple monofilaments, which can be divided into polyamide type 6 and polyamide type 66 according to the number of carbon atoms in the monomer. According to the strength and elongation, it can be divided into civil type and industrial type. The breaking strength of the former is 0.35~0.53N/tex (4~6gf/ Dan), and the breaking elongation is 24%~36%. The fracture strength of the latter is 0.62~0.79N /tex (7~9gf/ Denny), and the fracture elongation is 18%~24%. Because of its high strength, good elasticity, wear resistance, good chemical resistance, it can be used for knitting underwear, corsets, elastic tights, fitness pants, socks, gloves, fishing nets, ropes, conveyor belts, filter cloth, parachutes and so on. Because of the poor light fastness and light fastness of polyamide fiber, it is not suitable for use as a material under the condition of eye irradiation.
