Ferrocene is an organic transition metal compound with aromatic properties, chemical formula Fe(C5H5)2, orange yellow powder at room temperature, with camphor odor. Melting point 172℃-174℃, boiling point 249℃, above 100℃ can sublimate; Insoluble in water, easily soluble in benzene, ether, gasoline, diesel and other organic solvents.It does not interact with acid, alkali and ultraviolet, and has stable chemical properties. It does not decompose within 400℃. Its molecules are polar and have high thermal stability, chemical stability and radiation resistance. Product Purpose

Ferrocene seismic agent
Ferrocene and its derivatives are shock-resistant agents in gasoline and are much safer than tetraethyl lead, which was once used. Ferrocene containing gasoline additives are available at Halfords in the UK and are particularly suitable for vehicles previously designed for use as tetraethyl lead shock absorber. The iron decomposed by ferrocene is deposited on the surface of the spark plug, which enhances its thermal conductivity. Adding ferrocene also reduces soot from diesel cars.
