Application
Commonly used in the paint industry, it is a raw material for alkyd coatings, which can improve the hardness, luster, and durability of paint films. Pentaerythritol tetranitrate, which is made from Pentaerythritol, is a high explosive. Pentaerythritol fatty acid ester can be used as plasticizer and stabilizer of PVC resin.
