On October 15, the construction ceremony of key projects in the fourth quarter of 2023 in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province was held at the site of the Hengshan District Wanggedu Reservoir to Jingbian water supply project (controlled engineering).
This time, 39 industrial projects were started with a total investment of 101.8 billion yuan, of which Shenxin coal quality and efficient transformation and BDO downstream intensive processing circular economy project through the coupling of coal chemical industry and salt chemical industry, improving the comprehensive utilization efficiency of coal as a chemical raw material.
Shenxin coal quality efficient conversion and BDO downstream deep processing circular economy project
On August 15, 2022, at the investment promotion meeting in Yulin City, Shenmu City and Shandong Xinfa Group Energy Co., Ltd. officially signed the Shenxin coal quality and efficient transformation and BDO downstream deep processing circular economy project.
The project, with a total investment of 77.22 billion yuan and covering an area of about 15,000 mu, is located in Shenmu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The main construction of 1.6 million tons/year of high-performance resin, 1.2 million tons/year of BDO, 600,000 tons/year of PBAT, 400,000 tons/year of spanamide new materials, 100,000 tons/year of electronic grade NMP, 300,000 tons/year of acetic acid, 100,000 tons/year of vinyl acetate and other production plants, as well as 2×660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units and related supporting projects. The project focuses on the efficient conversion and utilization of coal and the downstream intensive processing of BDO, with the goal of improving the comprehensive utilization efficiency of coal as a chemical raw material, and promoting the transformation of low value-added chemical raw materials into high value-added fine chemical products, which has demonstration significance for strengthening and optimizing modern energy industrial clusters.
